Episode 5 – Making A Scene With Jim Ferguson
On this episode of Filmageddon we are honored to be able to talk to artist Jim Ferguson about his career drawing movie scenes and traveling the country selling art at different Comic-Con events. Jim talks about how he transitioned from his job at NASA to a full time artist as well as what it’s like to be on the road all of the time for his career.
Jim has just recently launched his latest Kickstarter project Making A Scene 2014 so please click the link to check it out and purchase some rad art at a great price. You can also follow him on Facebook, Twitter, and make sure you check him out on Etsy as well!
In honor of being able to talk to Jim we also picked two movies that center around art and artists to discuss. We open the show talking about Art School Confidential directed by Terry Zwigoff and also discuss the 2002 movie Adaptation which is written by Charlie Kaufman and directed by Spike Jonze.
